DCRA: precision optics that form a real image in mid-air.

A Dihedral Corner Reflector Array contains many microscopic two-sided reflectors. Light is reflected twice and redirected to form an observable image at a plane-symmetric position.

Two-reflection imaging

Each micro-reflector redirects rays so the image is formed on the opposite side of the optical element at a corresponding position.

Display-source integration

The optical path can be designed around LCD, OLED, or other display sources and tuned for brightness, viewing range, and industrial design.

Engineering assessment

Results depend on the source, ambient light, image distance, viewing angle, and enclosure. Optical and mechanical assessment precede deployment.
